WCS Natural Collection Razor 37W, Rosewood

Good product

I got this shaving razor to replace my cheap Chinese razor (not meant to put down Chinese products and perhaps even this product is one). This one has a longer handle which i prefer. The wood is fake and not real. A bit disappointing, but I think that is advertised. The shave feels clean and safe. The one thing I miss with this one versus my older razor is that, this one doesn't expose the side blades (it exposes only the main ones), so I can't use the sides to cut small corners. That is the main reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5. If I had realized it, I would have purchased on that had the sides exposed.

nearly perfect handle

I love that it's light and long. I wish the wood surface was perfectly smooth so it had the feel of a fine piece of furniture, but I guess that's hard to do at this price. Nonetheless this is my favorite handle now. I got it with the open head which shave amazingly close (but be careful). I'm using Merkur blades with it.
