I was looking for something with a lid that seals properly to grate one of my rock-hard shaving soap pucks into, and this (& a rotary grater) worked perfectly! I just wish it came in several pretty colors – I’d buy one of each! At $5.00 on sale, it’s worth the price. At $12.50, I’d definitely find something just as good… but a whole lot prettier!

Good container for soaps that don't have their own

I melted my Ogallala bay rum soap into it, and it works great! As you get lower, the lip on the jar may start to rub the brush handle, but it hasn't scratched my chrome-finish handle yet (at least not noticeably).
