Merkur 23C Long Handle Safety Razor

Well-balanced and sturdy

I have used this razor for about at month now—it is my first safety razor—and it has helped smooth out my shaving. I highly recommend this to newcomers to wet shaving.

Perfect

This is just what I wanted to replace my regular razor. I wasn't sure about the weight, since my other razor isn't nearly this heavy, but it took only a little while to get used to and now I wouldn't want it any other way. My hands are small but this is the perfect size and the textured handle ensures I don't drop it. Easy to clean and switch blades and it looks greats.

nice (but not TSA safe!)

I bought this Merkur 23C Long Handle Safety Razor for my son for Christmas. He really liked it, but took it down to the States on a trip to visit his grandad, and TSA confiscated it (just the handle, he didn't have blades with him). Nice product, just don't travel to the USA with it.
