This clear description of having a period was exactly what I was looking for to support a student. She listened and seemed to follow well. She has a copy to keep at school and one to take home. My only additional comment would be to add a visual for period panties. We have not tried them but I have spoken to people who have used them successfully with our population. Thanks for this.

Just what we needed

This social story on 'Getting My period' was just what we needed. It is tastefully done with information that is appropriate and factual but in easy terms for my student to understand. We made a copy for her to read in school and at home. The parents were very grateful to have such a resource. We looked at other resources about this topic and this was far superior to those! Thank you.
