You know that you have high quality boots when your laces wear out. . . Buy cheap boots and your soles are likely to fail before your laces do. . . that is not the case for Thursday boots. . . they will last for ever! And they will be better looking the more you wear them! That does mean you are going to need to change the laces - and I have tried replacing the laces nylon and nylon blend ones from Walmart or some other supplier, but nothing beats the waxed cotton originals from Thursday Boots. . . they fit better and the won't damage your eyelets.
