This charger came in clutch- I was running out of hope for my new EV. Due to the sidewalk separating my car and my home- the OEM mobile charger was just a few feet too short. I looked into extension cords but it seemed dangerous. Then I found this 30ft option from Primecom tech and omg, problems are all solved! I had been struggling around charging at Tesla chargers, always with range anxiety. Now I can actually have the real EV charging home experience! Matt was so helpful guiding me to purchase exactly what I needed. Thank you so much!

This charger is amazing, I needed a long charger for my model Y (2023) as the Tesla brand was shorter for my driveway, but Mr Davis was very knowledgeable and recommended this one and works great, I will recommend to any one that needs the 40foot charger or longer for their Tesla, I get at least 40miles an hour when charging and even more than that, thank you primecom and hopefully it continues to work many years to come.

I just started using it, on a Kia EV6. That car (rather stupidly) has its port at the rear, so your 30-ft option was essential, compared with the many chargers that have short cords, some of them much shorter. (I would never use a 240V/50A extension cord.) I'm also pleased that it didn't come with an idiotphone app: the car itself looks after scheduling etc just fine. It worked fine right out of the box, after reading the instructions on the red knob to reset. 40A charging at about 238V = 9.6 kW: good. That knob is odd: it looks like an Off button, but isn't. A significant negative point about the unit is that there is actually no Off button, so screen and text stay permanently lit, and are particularly bright for curious neighbors at night. I just made a fold-down flap to cover the box, which also provides some rain protection. The ability to simply turn it off would be better. The "hardwired" option (which I bought) is not hardwired: it's just missing a plug on the infeed line. So the line doesn't install directly into the charger box, which would have been truly hardwired and much better. BTW, I really don't recommend wire nuts for this power usage: very unreliable! Brass screw connections inside the box would be a great improvement. The RFID is a good feature, but the instructions are very flaky, and there seems no indication on the screen of whether the unit is off or on. Please rewrite that stuff: I need to know when the charger (*not* the RFID) is on, or not. I expect I'll find out soon, when our next charge comes up. Overall, a good unit, but needs some improvements, and also a significantly better user manual.
