Yes, it is true, the effort it takes to sip ( draw or suck) water is more than a thick shake. There Is a reduced volume as well, but., its not a big deal.

Does the job.

The bottle is well made and keeps my water cold for hours. I love the idea of being able to drink water from anywhere. However the water is hard to get out. At first I thought it would get easier with time but it is difficult to get out. I replaced the straw and everything but requires a ton of effort to get to water up the straw.

Nice but not practical

Love the color , the feel and most things about this bottle. I find the filter so bulky and that it is not easy to drink from. Would not buy again
