NordyMute for 5 String Bass

I now own the Gruv Gear Fump Bridge Damper ($20), and also a NordyMute ($40). In a quick comparison last night the Nordy was better. The Nordy is a little harder to get in place since there is foam between each strong. (With the Nordy it is important to order the correct spacing.) The Nordy gives you a little more control for more or less muting—the Gruv damper is either on or off. Will I use either for performance? Not sure yet. They both mute a lot. Last night I was playing along with some quiet Bossa Nova, and, in my practice room, I sounded a lot like a stand up. Also, yes, quite a bit like Jamerson!
