Great for prusik
I was able to make a couple of prusik knots out of this for saddle hunting. It bites hard but is also not too hard to adjust. Will be buying more of this for backups. This is some of the best rope you can find for prusiks and I can testify that it does not melt.

Works very well as a backup friction hitch above an atc while rappelling using a distel hitch. Certainly would not melt as i tested a small piece with a lighter and it was resistant. Would definitely recommend. I was using it on a 7/16 rope.
