I researched a few eyelet setters and this one had the best reviews. And those reviews weren't wrong. My husband did attach it to a small piece of wood for stability, but this thing works like a dream. The eyelets set perfectly every time without much effort. I did a 'make your own sneaker' demo at a quilt retreat recently and a bunch of the ladies wanted to order one of these. Look for more orders coming in soon!

Can't believe I waited so long to get this

I'm a pretty advanced garment sewer but I was still hammering in my jeans buttons and avoiding rivets. Not anymore! I've had the hand press for the plastic KAM snaps for years and this is its beefy big brother--just as easy to use, goes through multiple layers of canvas and denim like butter. I'm planning projects just to use it. If you're on the fence, just get it!
