Maxlite® 5 Medium Check-In Spinner

This seems like a good size and affordable option for mid-level luggage. Spinner wheels work well. It is light weight but well built. One design flaw is that the retrqctqble handle should be a little longer. It go high enough to stack some carry ons comfortably, even the MaxLite line. This was a replacement for another similar MaxLite series which about 25 years old. That one had a broken zipper and could not be repaired because the part is no longer made. I thought there was a lifetime warranty, but it is not offered with this less expensive line. After some bargaining Travelpro did give me 50% off, which was fair, although I to pay the $20 shipping charge. Read the guarantee carefully before you buy.

I use this primarily for business travel because the company pays for checked bags. I use my travel pro carry on for leisure travel. I like having both because they are lightweight & I never have to worry about being overweight when checking in.

Love my new suitcase!! This suitcase went on 9 different flights in two weeks and did fantastic!! It definitely took a beating but shows very little wear and tear. I highly recommend!
