Baratza Encore Conical Burr Coffee Grinder

This is my 2nd Baratza encore grinder. This one is not as good as the first. The short hopper gasket allows the beans to run through so quickly that the grounds are grainy and uneven. I put my old tall gasket in the hopper and it seems to work better . The hopper vibrates like mad causing the lid to lift up. The grounds are extremely static and leave a mess. The grounds bin is also very static and dumping them makes a mess. There are lots of grounds on the base where the bin sits, It appears that the bin does not fit well.

Was very pleased with the product and the customer service. I first contacted ECS about a refurbished coffee grinder several months ago, and while I did not make a purchase at that time, and associate was both friendly and helpful in following up about that grinder. Fast-forward 6 months and my brand new grinder arrived (across the country) within less than one week. Happy to be happy purchasing from a Canadian retailer!

Great product, easy to use and has greatly improved my coffee at home (we use a filter coffee maker and Aeropress, no espresso. Suits our needs beautifully.
