Breville Dose Control Coffee Grinder #BCG400SIL

I have ground beans often in the few days I have owned this machine. It makes a terrible mess every time. I was told the plastic pod I purchased to use in my Keurig machine also makes a mess. I've bought 3 different bags of beans and none make a decent cup.
