Wrong barrel

I have an older version, same model number. Sending it back is to much a hassle and not worth it for a $25 part. It was suggested I buy all the new parts that fit the new Barrel which is a lot of money for an old machine. I suggested that if you would cover the cost of the auger I would pay for the other parts needed. Have not received any response. Thanks for your help
