Egyptian cotton towels???????

Paid plenty of money for towels that said they would be lint free. THEY WEREN'T! Washed them several times to get the lint out but still very linty. They were as full of lint as the towels I bought at Walmart. They were advertised as Egyptian cotton. Were they?
