DELLATERA ATW ENGRAVED PAISLEY

Beautiful instrument that plays and sounds as good as it looks!

My custom-built engraved copper paisley Dellatera arrived today. It's absolutely beautiful! It also sounds amazing -- it's everything I hoped it would be (including a a robust "country-twang" sound that I've been seeking). The pickups and switching system provide considerable sonic signature versatility. This is probably one of the first high-end guitars I've had built over the years for which I didn't need to modify the action (that doesn't mean that there was anything wrong with my other custom guitars; string height preferences vary between players). Thank you Dean for continuing your legacy of building fine instruments!

My review of my recent purchase of the Dellatera Engraved Paisley

After several months of evaluations, reading countless numbers of five star reviews, and watching all the associated videos, I purchased the Paul Zelinsky Dellatera Engraved Paisley Black/Gold Hybrid guitar. It arrived late yesterday evening and when I opened the case, it was a beauty to behold. When I put my hand on the neck, to remove it from the case, I knew that I now have a very special detailed custom guitar. The Z-Glide neck was very detailed and reduced palm drag, when going up and down the neck. Per my request the set up was set as low as possible. Mr. Parker stated that it would be set "scary low" like he had on his guitars. The set up and action is perfect, with no problems. Hammering the strings and bends are easily performed and the sustain is great. It is equipped with dual sidekick pickups and a single coil in the middle. The tones are exceptional and can achieve the old favorite humbucker growl and then a more clean mellow Tele single coil sound. You can go from the humbuckers to single coil pickup with little to no volume loss. I must confess that this is now the best overall guitar that I own. The craftsmanship and overall appearance is exceptional. A very special thanks to Mr. Dean, Mr. Parker, and all the technicians involved in building and setting up my new Dellatera. Now I have to experiment with the different tones and get my favorite sounds established. It also has a very pretty well made case. My only regret is that I waited this long to purchase my one of a kind guitar. I had heard of Dean guitars, from my younger days, but just found out about the full line of Dean Zelinsky Private Label guitars. Please help spread the news about these fine guitars. It is a definite player and all guitarists deserve to know about and own one, or more, of these exceptional guitars.
