Turned out lovely!
This was the first time I’ve attempted something this complex since the sewing lessons my grandmother gave me as a teenager. It pushed my skills, but not overly so, although there were areas I kind of felt my way through and I definitely made several mistakes, but that’s on me for tackling a pattern beyond my beginner skills. Also I should have adjusted a little as my daughters Our Generation doll is apparently somewhat thicker then an American Girl. Over all it was quite fun to put together and I look forward to finding other patterns here as I’m using the doll alongside our history lessons.

Pretty pilgrim
Instructions referred to matching dots that were missing from a couple of pattern pieces, but overall a very nice pattern. I’m pleased with the results.

Pretty Pilgrim Pattern
I really love how the waistcoat and bonnet look. They fit beautifully.
The bonnet brim is not too wide. The skirt waist band was too small for my doll so I added a placket. All in all, I would highly recommend.
