Pink Banana Squash

8 seeds planted, 1 sprout in a month??

I have planted Thresh Pink Banana Squash for the past 3 years with great success. Here in California, I have always started my gardens in March. This past March I planted 6 old seeds still left in a packet from 2021. Nothing grew. I figured they were old and immediately ordered 2 new packets. They cam quickly and I planted them on my 'squash hill' (4 holes and 2 seeds each). There is fresh new soil (new bag of raised bed), and they are watered on a drip daily, So far, only 1 seedling has sprouted. I checked the other seeds and there is no sign of germination. Very strange. I am planting new seeds today (end of April) and cross my fingers. I'll update any progress.

I was hoping for a couple more seeds to have grown, but over all they look great and a good percentage did come up. I love the packaging and the service was great!! I will be doing more shopping with this company next year!!

I bought these for my fall garden so I haven't planted them yet. The seeds were delivered quickly and are so professionally packaged. I'm impressed so far and I'm sure they will grow great
