Metal Spike Ferrule, SIZE 1 1/16" (30MM)

Decent spike.

I have the ferrule installed and have been using it for the past two weeks hiking around 20 miles through assents and descents. I did not have any tools to make a good taper for a solid fit, so I used my belt sander and filled in the gaps with epoxy. The ferrule did not come with nails or screws for a mechanical bond even though there were two premade holes for that purpose. I would have happily paid a few dollars for some stainless steel screws.
