Safety googles on. The way I use these is to have one kit per a pair of students. Safety procedures and use procedures are explained. A trained assistant adds more than enough liquid nitrogen into a doubled Styrofoam cup at each location. Students proceed as instructed. The thrill at seeing the tiny magnet "float", is unmistakable. They are allowed to use their camera phones; and do take great pictures and videos. The one thing I would add is a Styrofoam layer under the petri dish, and even a ring of Styrofoam around the dish.
