The Aarn Featherlite Freedom Backpack Takes Backpacking to a Next Level!

I'm very happy with my Aarn Featherlite Freedom backpack and the support provided by Rich at Light Hiking Gear. I was fortunate enough to live near Light Hiking Gear so drove out and got a hands-on fitting of the Aarn back pack. Balancing the weight between the front balance pockets and main compartment is a game changer. The adjustable harness systems provide a very comfortable fit. If you are unable to visit Light Hiking Gear there are plenty of videos you can watch that walk you through how to adjust the pack. Rich was also very responsive to a few questions I had after taking the pack home. As an avid hiker, I highly recommend the Aarn packs and Light Hiking Gear.

An absolutely amazing pack, with two unique features: a suspension that allows the pack to float as you move, and front packs that counterbalance the weight in the rear to make the carry more biomechanically efficient--and comfortable! The materials and workmanship appear to be top notch. There are so many incredibly thoughtful details. Watch one of the many videos if you are considering buying one!
