Arion Magnide® Donning Aid for Closed Toe Stocking

Personally, the pull-tab of this product was the big problem. Somehow, most of the time when I put the Magnide Easy-Slide on, the "pull-tab" material would somehow wrap around one of my toes and it caused excruciating pain! I had to immediately take the stockings off, which was not easy to do when you have arthritis in your hands. I solved the problem by removing, with scissors, that entire middle section (the material which made up the pull-tide). Now there's no problem at all. It now acts like a sock before you put the closed-toe stockings on. When I get to the heel on my foot, I just pull the Magnide Easy-Slide off. Dilemma solved!

Not what I hoped

I don’t like writing less than stellar reviews for a company that has changed my life helping me to achieve the perfect fit! I thought this would help and after using it I can see where it would be helpful but I have large feet and it was too much material for me. The videos that Sigvaris posts for easy donning were most helpful and what I went back to! I will say this item is well made and worth a try if donning is difficult for you.

Does the job well

It works - I wear 30-40's and they slide on beautifully over this. It does catch the toes a little when I'm pulling it out, but now that i'm ready for it it's not a big deal. Use it with knee highs and thigh highs - the trick of pulling it partway out (so it's higher on the leg), then continuing to pull up the thigh highs, works well.
