Excellent
I really liked this tea. This is the first Hei Cha that I ever tried so I can’t really make any comparisons to other similar teas. Nonetheless, There is absolutely no wet pile taste at all which was surprising to me given the processing. It is a really clean, crisp, refreshing tea that brews many steeps. I got 10 before calling it quits. I probably could have pushed it more. The flavor continuously gets stronger and richer for at least the first five or six steeps. In the later brews I got a refreshing minerality similar to what you would get from a yan cha, however, the flavor is very unique. Had I known that I would like it so much I would have ordered a whole brick

Refreshing & full
This one has the big flavour of lemon! I tasted it the distinctly the whole way through. And also, it can really taste like a black tea! The mild astringent, slightly dry edge is very familiar from that category, and something in the light, somewhat floral flavours rang familiar of a black. It definitely has that familiar meadowy hei cha flavour, and does that nicely. It's hard to describe how these can exist together, but along with the dry edge, it is a very smooth, liquidy feeling experience, and a nice residue in the mouth. This is a very tasty and comforting tea. This tea would be great for summer, with the thirst quenching lemon, and smoothness.
