Delano JMVC5 FE/M2 5 String Hum Cancelling Jazz Bass® Pickups

Fat bass tone

Recently, I placed the Delano pick - ups in my Fender Bass and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the sound so much so that my fellow band members were impressed with the bottom man and the crisp pies. I would recommend these pick ups to anyone in fact, I’m thinking about adding the preamp that they make as well.

Not what I was expecting but still great

These pickups went into a G&L JB5. Compared to the stock pickups, they're definitely fuller/bassier sounding with slightly less high mids. Definitely more output too and of course, NO HUM. Personally, these pickups would definitely benefit from an onboard preamp but do sound killer in passive mode too. My intent with these pickups was to get the output of my JB5 closer to my G&L L2000s and Sandbergs, I think I've very much accomplished that. Overall, good investment.
