Terrific case

Bought this beautiful case to protect my new tenor ukulele. Case is beautiful, rugged, light weight and has plush padding inside. Great case and value.

This will fit a Contour Series baritone

Obviously the baritone case will fit a baritone Contour Series ukulele. Messaged Kala to confirm beforehand, and can verify it does fit after I received it. However, the fit is tight around the lower bout. It does take a gentle pressing of the lower bout down into the case with 2 hands. As it is sliding into the case it will compress the interior fabric and cushion, so there is no "play" between the ukulele bout and the case. Just saying it is a snug fit. But it does fit, and this is the only hard case I have seen that will work for the Contour Series baritone. Not totally enamored with the color - only one choice. But I have had this uke nearly a year without a hardcase. I'm now more confident of heading into winter being able to protect and humidify my solid wood uke.

Just the right combination

This is important to me and most of the musicians I have been associated with to take care of the instruments we have spent our hard earned money on, whether amateur or professional. While I don’t own an ukulele costing thousands of dollars, I still found the “gig bag” that came with it as entirely too flimsy to give the basic protection it needs. So this was acquired to cure the situation, and it fills the bill. The soft interior helps maintain the finish of the instrument, while the shell will protect it from most normal transportation wear and tear. My brother, an alto sax and bass guitar player wanted one of these for his bass, but it doesn’t fit! 😟
