Braided Leather Angle Tote

Daily carry…second time around

I carried the non-braided version of this tote for a decade…and loved the size, shape, configuration and quality. Bought a second with this lovely braided leather strap. I cannot stress enough how substantial this bag is. It is really satisfying to carry something that is perfectly designed and executed with such high-quality materials and workmanship. I will probably add a third angle tote at some point, since I love this bag so very much. A black bag can be streamlined AND luxe, without screaming. Love the lack of logos and other distractions.

Perfect, meticulous craftmanship and luscious beautiful leather

I have slowly acquired multiple Lotuff bags over the past decade, including the One Piece, the Bucket Bag, the Braided Angle Tote, the Small Tote, and the Sol Handbag, in different colors. Clay (a warm taupe) and Black are classic luxury, but the bright Blue and new chartreuse Green (perfect for "Brat" summer) have been so modern and fun to see in this traditional raw material. Every single bag has fragrant, luscious leather, dyed so beautifully, cut and sewn with precision. There is not a seam out of place. The bag and its construction are flawless every single time. The quality is surpassed only by the durability — I can live my life in these bags, beating them up, using them to hold my laptop, clothes, books, makeup, the big schlep needed for most days. The best part of owning Lotuff leather is knowing the human beings whose great skill and labor created such beautiful and functional things. These bags are simply a pleasure to handle and touch everyday. Use them without too much care: I think the best luxury is when the object of desire frees you to live your life to the fullest, and takes on the patina of time and your many adventures.
