Poor customer service. Inaccurate sizing

I saw these in a shop where they had an XL and a medium size. the XL was too large. The medium too small. The shop didn't have any Large - which looked to be the right fit for me. I went to the Troop website and saw they had size Large and ordered it. When it arrived it had an XL label (not L) and was of course too large. I contacted Troop who simply told me that I should order a medium and return the XL at my own cost. They did not offer to pay for the return of an item that was either not a Large (as ordered on the website) or was incorrectly labelled. I requested a free return but they have not responded.
