Perfect for baroque setup

First class rosin. It feels just right for gut strings and a light baroque bow. Excellent balance of quick articulation and warm rich sound on both wound and unwound gut. Provides a very noticable improvement in dynamic range as well - more than I expected. Top quality, as I have come to expect from Melos.

Melos Baroque Rosin was surprisingly excellent: not gritty but subtly right for suave playing! Actually my instrument is a lirone!
