If the call button & pager system are a long-term necessity, it might be a good idea to start by buying 2 call buttons and putting one aside until the other's battery dies; then after linking the spare call button to the pager, reorder 1 call button to be put aside until the next call-button battery dies. I don't like the cord that is used on the call button. I have removed it and replaced it with another one. I wear the pager on my belt, but have lost it twice because it can become disconnected. I have put my name and phone number on the pager in case this happens again. But it probably won't because I have devised a way to secure it to the belt in a relatively simple way.
