Myrtle Turning Square (12" x 2" x 2")

Somewhat disappointing

Somewhat disappointed in these turning squares unfortunately. One was clearly myrtle and turned nicely with warm brown color. The others did not seem like myrtle to me in that they were much tighter grain any very light in color. Maybe there were pure sap wood but they were so different they could not be used for the handles I was turning. Seems that Cook could do better in selecting from their stock.
