This is my sixth purchase of a spalted Tamarind bowl blank and it looks amazing in its raw form. The wood is easy to turn, easy to sand and takes a great finish. The look is so unique with all the different veining and the deep contrast between the spalted areas and the Tamarind. Highly recommended - just know that the wood is only air dried and may need a couple of weeks (+) to stabilize before turning.
