Energy Advisor (House) Exam Preparation

Meh...

Pros: -Course covered most of the material needed to pass the exam. -Sample exam questions were useful. Cons: - Delivery of material was dry - like a powerpoint presentation with someone just reading a script. - Very few visual examples or explanations. -More video explanations would have been useful. - There was supposed to be a multiple choice quiz after each of the first 4 modules but there was only a quiz at the end of the first one. - The final 150 question quiz did not tell you the correct answers or reference the material that would provide the correct answer to the questions. Final opinion: Not worth the price tag! You will probably be just as successful by simply reading the materials provided directly through NRCan for free.

-It drives me crazy that Every video slide ends in a fade out to a blank screen while you are still trying to read it. Then you have to fiddle with the mouse to click backwards so you can finish reading the slide or reviewing it. -I feel that all of the information from the PDF resources should be incorporated in the video presentations. -re-finding and Cross referencing information for study purposes is very tedious through all the modules. So I would say it will be a super great course that is in development. Take it! BUT expect to do extra hours in re-finding information, when you get to the study portion in preparation for the NRCAN exam.

I like the option of listening to the podcast. I enjoy the freedom of being able to repeat the lessons till I felt confident that I fully comprehended the material and was able to remember the information easier.
