Authentic
The pattern is very authentic. It’s not a quick sew, but well worth the effort. It’s unfortunate the instruction has brown thread in brown fabric. I don’t print instructions, I use my iPad. Still, a well designed.

lovely pattern
The results of the pattern look good and fit well on my AG doll. I plan on tweaking it a little bit and making a second one to fit a Journey Girl doll, as my daughter has requested one in a outfit that matches hers. Having made adult-sized Viking outfits, I found a couple of the construction suggestions a little different (e.g., cutting the squares for the underarm gussets in half to sew them in on each side and then joining them together along the long seam), but because of the difference between fitting something to a doll vs. a human, it made sense. I added a Dublin cap, draped on the doll, and a pair of turnshoes based on an online tutorial to the ensemble. I think the pattern would be improved with a cap or headscarf pattern, since that was considered a pretty essential garment at the time.
