Ready for Travel

I am looking forward to taking this hoodie with me to Europe in a few months. I have worn it around my house a few times to get a feel for it, and it is soft, comfortable, and temperature-regulating. I feel I am between sizes but opted for a 5 (XL) instead of a 4 (L) due to the extra room in the bust. With that said, the 5 is roomy on me but not enough to exchange. This size will afford me the option of layering in the fall and winter. I am 5'8" , and the sleeves are long but comfortable. The multipurpose cuffs are a bonus! I'm considering coming back for the navy hoodie as well. Thank you.

Soft, cozy, and well designed!

I checked and compared as many merino hoodies as I could find from all the major brands and went with Aviator due to the smart design - zippered pockets, liner length hood, and most importantly the sleeve design with thumb holes and fold over cuffs. I chill easily and the sleeve design was a critical deciding factor for me. I am so far THRILLED with this hoodie. I did machine wash on gentle and hung to dry on arrival, especially to relax the corner/fold on the shoulders, and it dried nicely in less than 24 hours, is super soft and functional. I used measurements and selected size 1, and the fit is spot on for me. I am also petite and it wasn’t too long either which was something I was concerned about with other brands. The only negative thing I can say is that animal hair sticks to this wool a bit more than some other brands I wear, but that is life with pets. I would 100% recommend this hoodie, and will be wearing it on an international trip in a few weeks.

I’ve been searching for the perfect merino hoodie for a long time. It has been basically impossible to find one with high wool content that met all of my “requirements” but this one did it! I absolutely love it. The length is perfect. I get annoyed with hoodies that are too long, but I also have longer arms and don’t like the arms too short. The arms are long enough, and the fold over mitts are even functional for me. Thumbholes are great. Zipper pockets!!! The only negative would be the very noticeable zippers which don’t bother me, but I think I’d rather have them blend in more. This was my first purchase from Aviator and it was a good one!
