Great color and well behaved

Wonderful color as a blue black (benitoite), but more on the muted blue side. Behaves well in pen, performs well on low quality paper(dries fairly quickly, does not feather or bleed) which is great for everyday office use.

Wonderful Highly Saturated Black

This if for the Obsidian ink. This is easily my favorite black ink. It's an incredibly saturated black that has teal undertones that appear during fast writing. It's flow is pretty average (though my medium nib Lamy 2000 dumps the ink on the page), and it sheens heavily. The consistency is rather odd, though. The best description I can think of is like writing with motor oil. It's relatively easy to clean out of pens but can be a bit stubborn due to the high saturation.
