Really good for shallow water

I bought a kids paddle specifically to use in shallow water. All adult paddles no matter the style or brand seem to have very long/large blades. I paddle in florida where I most often am paddling in less than 2 feet of water. This blade is perfect for that application. It performs wonderfully in shallow water and still gives me enough power for the deeper areas I paddle. I would have given 5 stars if I could have gotten the shift oiled. The varnish is already scuffed from the gunnel. I can live with that though. All in all a quality paddle for the price.
