Perfection

I ordered two paddles just over a year ago. I’m 65 and live to be on the river. I have two canoes, two kayaks and two fishing boats. Human powered transportation has always been my joy. The Ray Special and the modified Otter Tail paddles are absolutely the best navigating paddles I have ever owned. If I ever loose or break one I’ll be buying 2 more. The control you have, the power you can apply or how easily you can glide quietly through the water is amazing. I took so long to review these because I thought they were to specific of use. I was wrong. From lakes to heavy flowing rivers deep or shallow they are it ! Don’t hesitate to buy a couple. If you buy one you’re going to have to fight the bow paddler over it. Trust me !!

Great customer service and paddle!

This was a Christmas gift to my husband. He picked it out and I ordered it. I had to call Greg a couple of times and he was super nice and helpful. Beautiful craftsmanship! We can’t wait to try it out soon!

So far superb!

It’s winter here is Wisconsin so not likely to get ‘er in the water until spring. In the meantime the paddle feels smooth, looks perfect and is proportioned just right. I did give it a couple light coats of oil to keep it hydrated over the long winter. Wouldn’t be surprised if I’ll need another next summer!
