Fleck 2510SXT Water Softener System for Well Water (2510 SXT)

DIY install, took about 3 hours. Installed using mostly PEX fittings with shark bites to connect into the copper main. Water hardness dropped from 15 grains to none detectable and iron from 1 ppm to none detectable as soon as the system went on service. No issues after 3 weeks of use. Couldn’t ask for more

Great customer service seems to be working well

I got it all set up and followed the directions of pouring one gallon into the salt tank but it has added a lot more water since. I've never seen this in any other softener I've had, seems like too much water to me especially when it's well water that goes bad after a week or so. I don't know if this is normal for this kind of softener.
