Beautiful craftsmanship - great fun - wonderful article

I bought this boat hook after I read the article. It doesn't get much better than this for a woodworker and sailor. The boat hook is a beautiful piece of work. Very well done, excellent craftsmanship. I took the boathook to our sailing breakfast bunch - the old guys - to show them the boathook and the article. Everyone was impressed and they're a tough crowd! I also took it to show the bridge building engineer and software engineer - I wanted to see how they would go about designing a handle - interesting. I'll probably buy at least one more before all is said and done. I'm anxious to give it a go...

A Real Boat Hook

Our boat needed a "Real" boat hook, not one of those collapsible aluminum poles that collapse and hang up every time you really need it. On a strong wooden shaft this hook will work just great. Beautifully finished bronze hook. I'm almost finished and waiting to see if it actually floats up right.
