Carousel lights
I'm in the process of building a theme park, carousel, ferris wheel, roller coaster, loop roller coaster plus side shows and other attractions.
The light kit is very good and as long as your careful in handling you should have no issues.
The instructions for the fitting could be made way better as it can be confusing but use your own judgement.
The battery box placement is not good at all and would suit a remote for this kit as its very fiddly to get to switch on and off.
The sticky pads are poor so consider an alternative type of double sided tape.
Looks great though with motor gear fitted.

Light kit for Carousel
I got the standard kit and they look really good. Quite a few of the wires are visible around the bottom of the carousel and up the pole but as long as you don't mind that it looks really good.
