Item was what I expected

Poor quality, dreadful adhesive squares and convoluted ‘instructions’

I purchased this set a while ago with high hopes, and have only now found the time to put it together. My experience however has been thoroughly disappointing. The overall quality is poor with many of the wires tangled and even the odd bit of live wire exposed. Perhaps the most frustrating part however is the subpar adhesive squares that fail to securely stick the lights to the Lego pieces. Additionally, the online instructions - or lack thereof - amount to nothing more than a series of ambiguous and difficult-to-follow images, often missing out steps and turning what should have been an enjoyable setup process into a frustrating and tedious task. Despite my initial anticipation, the combination of adhesive issues and convoluted ‘instructions’ has left me questioning the value of this set, and I can't help but feel let down by the disappointing quality and experience it has delivered.
