I started this pepper indoors over winter with a heat pad, humidity dome, in a peat pellet. Once established, it's a care free plant in my full sun subtropical zone 8 climate. Just make sure you water it in early morning or late evening if your climate is as/more humid than mine. This pepper has been my heaviest producer by far. I snack on them in the garden everyday. It easily replaces bell peppers in recipes that don't require a single large pepper. Just chop them up and add them to whatever.
