I really only needed the battery as my previous one was working. I do like this sweeper

I bought the Speedy Sweep to get up small crumbs dropped on the kitchen floor and i run it over the living room each morning. It is light weight and so far is good. It is good for a quick pick up without getting out the big vacuum. Easy to carry upstairs for the Hall. Keeps things neat without heavy lifting dumps easy .

I love this sweeper. Picks up everything from wood chips to dog hair. I like mine so much I bought one for my niece with 4 kinds under the age of six. Great for the floor after dinner, and crafts. Light weight enough for the kids to use when they want to help mom. I bought an extra battery so it is always ready to use.
