Dissapointing Material

The fitment is nice so far, still in the break in process. But the exterior leather material has a matte rough unfinished look to it that I was not expecting. Maybe I hit a wrong box but I was expecting a more finished looking leather rather than a utilitarian weathered look. It's not a huge deal as I realize this is a utilitarian piece, but it doesn't look the price. The gun mat on the other hand is beautiful leather. Figured it would be the other way around.

Great Quality

This is a pocket holster so it must separate easily from the revolver. If this holster were a belt holster it would be perfect because it holds the revolver with just enough force. Initially, I had to stuff the holster to loosen it up, but I could not get the holster to the point it would NOT remain on the revolver when I pulled it. The cylinder of the revolver fits into the holster such that quick removal does not take place. I'm not a newbie and have doing guns for decades. Sorry.
