A fun puzzle that's hurt by its design.

Difficulty: 4.5/10 (stickered), 3/10 (stickerless) Playability: 6/10 Quality: 5/10 OVERVIEW: Simply put, the two versions of this puzzle equate to the centers of a 5x5, although the stickered version is a more challenging solve (explained below). The solve is fun and is a unique twist (pun intended) on techniques most of us already know, but unfortunately, the alignment and design of the puzzle make moves difficult. Pieces will sometimes get stuck mid-algorithm, and re-aligning them can cause you to forget your place in the solve, and have to redo work you've already done. The pieces are hollow, and feel very cheap, even for a $7 puzzle, as Lefun has other puzzles with a much higher quality. As far as their differences, the STICKERLESS version is the equivalent of normal 5x5 centers, where any corner or middle center piece of the same color can be interchanged, and the STICKERED version is the equivalent of a 5x5 supercube, where all corner center pieces have a specific orientation. This means that the stickered version is a more challenging solve. I personally enjoyed the supercube center solve, although I've had to start solves over multiple times due to having to stop mid-algorithm. Overall, I wish that a higher quality version would be produced, as it's a few steps shy of being a great puzzle. PROS: Fun solve that requires a little thinking and planning, but only takes about 5 minutes. Fun to pick up and play. The stickered version's 12-color scheme is nice. CONS: Lockups and misalignment make it frustrating to solve. Additionally, the stickerless version is much easier to solve due to the corner center pieces being interchangable.
