A somewhat mysterious puzzle

The DaYan Bermuda Neptune is a puzzle similar to a 3x3x3 with threefold rotational symmetry. Viewing the puzzle from one corner reveals a 3x3x3-like cut pattern. The turning on this puzzle was great after I adjusted the tensions and lubed the springs. For a long time, I wasn't sure how to proceed with solving it, but it turns out there's a way to do it fairly easily. I also solved the DaYan Bermuda Uranus on pCubes, and I recommend that puzzle instead for a more challenging and unique solving experience.
