Sweetbay Magnolia Tree

After the first magnolia arrived dead I had some reservations. The tree was replaced promptly and I am happy to report it is already blooming just two weeks after planting. I also purchased a small Colorado Blue Spruce and it took right off. Earlier I purchased a butterfly bush and Hydrangea. Both are starting to bloom

Love this little tree. Arrived on time, well packaged and secure. We planted it two days later in an area that’s almost always muddy - rain or shine - because I read somewhere that it will suck the water out of the soil. It’s been a month and the plant is in good shape - I’m happy with this purchase.

Impressed a gardener

I gave this tree as a gift to a friend in Florida who is a fine gardener but has always wanted a Magnolia. The information on the site explained which species might thrive in zone 10a. That was helpful to me. My friend was delighted with the plant, impressed with the packaging that allowed this relatively tall item to arrive unharmed, and very complimentary about the condition of the tree. I was so happy to be able to do this for her in the midst of a pandemic!
