Sewell BlastIR Classic IR Repeater Kit – In-Wall IR Control System for Hidden AV Equipment

The kit works well, with plenty of transmitters for remote equipment. The initial unit that I received failed after about a week, but Sewell sent a replacement without complaint. The replacement unit has worked without a problem, so far. I was able to swap out one element at a time with the failed unit, which confirmed that the receiver was the piece that had failed. The blue light stayed on all the time. Fortunately, these are available from Sewell at a lower cost than the entire kit, should the new one fail in the future. Good support from the company.

Good product. I had to adjust the orientation of the emitters because they were too powerful but same thing would happen with original remote. Then it is very reliable so far.
