Tree arrived in poor condition

The June Plum arrived already wilted and showed signs of dying. I sent pictures and requested a new tree since I was well within the window for a replacement. I was told yes, a new tree would be sent. Days later, a different person chimed in and said it’s normal for plants to look that way and to water it. I sent more pictures showing the leaves fallen off and the branches drying. Still, I was advised to water it. I requested a refund and was told if I return the tree, it has to be in good condition to get a refund. How was I supposed to return the plant in good condition when it came to me drying up? Needless to say, I was very upset. Days later, I received an email, probably from someone else, saying I will be issued a refund. Just terrible customer service. I was planning on buying more trees as I did in the past, but after that horrible experience, I will not buy from them again.

Trees arrived stressed with leaves turning yellow and broken branches. I am trying to tenderly care for them and I am hoping they will bunce back.
