Bath & pedestal mats - they're okay,.

Bought 2 "sets" comprising pedestal & bath mat in Cornish blue & beetroot. The colours are lovely; cannot comment on colour-fastness as I have yet to wash them. Being double sided ("reversible"), the mats are thick which gives a sense of luxury but their size is mean in my opinion; the bath mat in particular could do with being longer/more generous. Also, water tends to stay on the surface of the fibres rather than being absorbed so the mat is wet under foot rather than damp. This may possibly be due to some kind of treatment to enable easier drying but I don't like to be even the second person, (never mind a third or fourth, for example in a family context) climbing out onto the mat!
